What is Reiki?
Reiki is a generic term used to describe any type of healing work that is based on life force energy. It can be used to release negative emotions or feelings like stress, anxiety or depression. It is generally offered through light touch from the practitioners hands on specific places of the body (head, shoulders, torso, feet, etc) and is non-invasive.
For me, I describe reiki as massage therapy for your soul. I work more in the auric fields and do not often need to touch for my in-person sessions.
