I’m skeptical about Reiki—how can I know it really works?

Will I feel any side effects after a Reiki session?​

Most clients leave a Reiki session feeling relaxed and refreshed, but some may experience mild side effects like dizziness or an emotional release. On rare occasions, clients go through what feels like an “emotional cleansing,” where they feel more intense emotions for a day or so. This is part of the body’s natural healing process, and I always check in with my clients after their session to offer support if needed. If you feel off, I’m here to help you ground your energy and move through the experience. Resting and staying hydrated after a session is also recommended to help your body integrate the healing.

How will I know if Reiki is working for me?
